There are two main types of seat covers: “standard” covers and custom-fit covers.

Standard seat covers can be fitted to any type of vehicle, even though they do not truly fit any of them perfectly.

Custom-fit covers guarantee a flawless appearance, as they are made to the exact dimensions of the seats, down to the millimetre, like a second skin, for each of the 500 car models currently sold in France (and for each interior version).

In addition, custom-fit covers are better suited to the increasing technical complexity of modern seats.

The customer selects their seat covers from the catalogue, then completes a questionnaire describing their vehicle in detail.

Bancarel then manufactures the selected model individually and delivers it within 15 days. Bancarel covers the entire vehicle fleet.

Of course, this depends on how they are used. Bancarel seat covers come with a 1-year warranty, but some customers are still using their covers 10 years after installation in their vehicle.

Modern vehicle models, even in their basic versions, are increasingly well equipped and, of course, custom-fit covers take all features into account, such as seatbelt and headrest openings, armrests, and airbags.

Almost all modern vehicles are equipped with side airbags integrated into the seats.

It is therefore essential that seat covers include a system that allows the airbag to deploy freely.
