Pôle Cuir Aveyron-Bancarel contributes to promoting the Aveyron leather industry
The Pôle Cuir Aveyron was created in 2015 on the initiative of the Aveyron Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and in partnership with the Millau Grands Causses Community of Communes (CCMGC). It brings together 18 Aveyron-based companies from the leather trades: tanners, fellmongers, glove makers, leather goods makers, saddlers and bootmakers.
Bancarel is a member of the Pôle Cuir Aveyron and contributes to promoting the industry.

The leather industry has been one of the driving industries in the Aveyron department for many years. Rooted in tradition and extensive know-how, the Aveyron leather industry enjoys success and recognition based on quality. The creativity and dynamism of these companies now make it possible to offer high-end products.
With this in mind, the Pôle Cuir Aveyron has set itself the following missions:
- Know-how: passing on acquired and mastered artisanal know-how to future generations;
- Working together: bringing together and uniting leather industry players to exchange and share ideas, in order to carry out high-value-added projects (synergy, innovation, etc.);
- Raising awareness: making the leather industry known and promoting it to a wide audience (communication, meetings, trade shows, etc.).
The Pôle Cuir Aveyron has become a model to follow, bringing together companies from the industry that work to build relationships and synergies with all leather industry players around shared themes: training, knowledge transfer, recruitment, and the enhancement of by-products...
